Top Twelve Must Haves for Fall 2012

We had the pleasure of attending the 2012 Fall Fashion Preview at Belk in July and wanted to share some of the fabulous things we learned! Here are the top twelve MUST haves for this fall!

1. BOLD COLOR

Spring/Summer was all about the color. This fall is no different. Trade in your neons for some gorgeous jewel tones and keep up the color blocking this fall.

2. FITTED BLAZER

Not only is the equestrian trend HUGE this fall, but tweed jackets are in as well!  This outfit captures two trends perfectly. We are obsessed with this look and will probably be rocking it a lot. 

3. ANKLE PANT

Skinnies have been trendy for quite some time now, and this fall it's all about the ankle length. For us short girls this trend can be quite tricky. Be sure to pair these pants with a pair of your favorite heels to elongate your legs!

4. BEAUTIFUL BLOUSE

A must have for fall is a super feminine blouse. Ruffles, lace, and bows are in for this season! 

5. PENCIL SKIRT

The classic fitted pencil skirt is in this season! Add a twist by rocking one with a peplum or by pairing with a peplum shirt.

6. New Shape Sweater

Since it's fall we are all ready for sweaters. This year try something different and go for a brightly colored slouchy sweater! 

7. Glitzy Top

What girl doesn't love some sparkle! This fall change it up and wear some glitz during the day! Pair this cute top with your favorite skinnies and rock it at lunch with your girlfriends!

8. SHIFT DRESS

Throw out your super fitted dresses and this fall go for something a little looser.  We love the idea of the shift dress because its super comfortable and very classy! You can also play with color blocking by adding a fun pair of tights which hits two trends at once!

9. METAL COLLAR

Collars have become accessories for this fall. Chunky metal necklaces as well as the Peter Pan collar necklaces are very popular! This trend adds interest to any plain shirt.

10. FASHION WATCH

The fashion watch is nothing new this year but it is a definite must have. We personally love rose gold as well as the tortoise shell style!

11. CROSS-BODY HANDBAG

Smaller bags have been on trend lately and this fall is no different. Try a fun leather cross-body bag to complete the equestrian trend!

12. BOOTS AND BOOTIES

This is probably our favorite part of fall/winter! We love BOOTS!!! Booties are huge this year! We love pairing our booties with a cute dress and tights but you can also wear them with your favorite skinnies!
